Celia has worked with children, adolescents and adults for many years. Gaining valuable insight through various roles in church, school and nonprofit settings, she provides therapy for children, teens, adults, couples and families, seeking to understand the whole person in the context of family and social settings. Believing that God is the Creator and Healer, she is passionate about seeing families and individuals thrive and approaches each client with respect and hope for the future. Having seen the devastating effects of traumatic experiences, both locally and internationally, she is committed to the process of healing from trauma and has organized multiple international trauma training events.

She earned her Masters degree in Counseling from the University of South Carolina and was a summa cum laude graduate of Columbia College. She and her husband have lived, worked and traveled extensively internationally and have raised four thriving adult children. In her spare time, she likes to read, kayak, hike, play with her grandkids and bake.

Celia incorporates her training in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Exposure Therapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems) and other modalities to tailor the counseling experience to the needs of each person or family.
