Licensed Professional Counselor, PhD
I’ve always been an "old soul” and felt drawn to finding deeper meaning in a chaotic world. I’m deeply interested in others’ stories and understanding how we grow, heal and thrive — so I suppose it wasn't a big surprise that I found my way to the field of counseling.
I got my Master's degree at Richmont Graduate University in 2009 and went on to complete my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Auburn University. I primarily work with individuals and couples who have experienced trauma, loss, anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship issues and career issues, and I’ve often found myself in awe at how the human spirit can weather even the greatest of storms.
When I’m not seeing clients, you’ll find me spending time with my family or pursuing my love of beautiful things through travel, flower arranging, or hiking.
